The regular business meeting was held in the 65 Club clubhouse on Thursday November 10, 2022.
President
Roger Jacobs called the meeting to order at 1:30 PM. There were sixteen (16) members attending.
Chaplin
Dave Tarditi led The Pledge of Allegiance, the singing of My County Tis of Thee
and read a prayer.

The
minutes of the last Business Meeting, held on September 8, 2022, were
read. They were approved without changes.

The
minutes of the last Board of Directors Meeting, held on November 4, 2022, were
read.
President’s
Report – Roger Jacobs
·
Today
is the birthday of the founding of the United States Marine Corp.
·
Tomorrow
is Veterans Day and Roger and Dave informed the members of several locations
having celebrations.
·
The
members were informed a 2nd VP for next years officers is still
required. The person must be a Haddonfield resident or a Special Guest member.
A Volunteer is requested.
Treasurer’s Report – Hank Zaleski
·
Income
for the year has exceed budget by $600.
·
Expenses
for the year are about $2000 below estimates due to the delay in purchasing
video equipment. The club is in good financial shape.
·
The
recently purchased I-Bonds are paying 9% for the first six months. They have
replaced CD’s that were paying 0.2%
Speakers
– David Tarditi - 1st VP
·
Dave
reported that that last week’s speaker on car washes was very impressed with
club and will provide a free carwash to each member who attended the meeting.

are scheduled through the end of the year and into January.

for the November 12 Wine and Cheese Party has been purchased.

The
Christmas party trip to Spring Lake was cancelled due to low turnout. There
were only nine (9) signups and the club had to guarantee 40 attendees.

dinner and show carpool trip to Spring Lake may be set up.

Bill
informed the members the Trip Director job is still open and waiting for a
volunteer to fill it.

Facility Electronic Scheduling System

Bernie
has been working with the borough to learn how to operate the new scheduling
System. There are glitches in the system.
At this time, progress is being made but the system is failing to
operate quickly and easily. Bernie will continue to work with the borough.

Joke
Master
Neil Weiss
was this week’s joke master. He scared
off Roger. Neil’s joke was good and
funny, members even laughed; Neil should quit while he is ahead.
