The
regular business meeting of the Haddonfield 65 Club was held June 14, 2018. President
Schmidt called the meeting to order at 1:30 PM. There were 25 members present.
The meeting began with the introduction our guest speaker, Nick
Rausch, who spoke on being the dentist to the Flyers, by Saul Resnick.
The regular meeting followed with the Pledge of Allegiance, the
singing of God Bless America and the invocation (for flag day) by D Tarditi.
The
acting secretary, Bill Brown, read the minutes from the last Business Meeting
held on May 10, 2018. The minutes were approved as read. He also read the
minutes from the board of director’s meeting held on June 7th .
David
Tarditi gave the treasurer’s report and posted it on the bulletin board. Dave
reported that he has moved one of our maturing CDs to gain a more favorable
rate.
Jay
Cokos reminded members of the speakers for the upcoming two weeks.
Saul
Resnick reported on his article for the Haddonfield Sun.
Bill
Brown indicated that he now has 49 people signed up and paid for the Middletown,
PA trip next Tuesday and that we have slots available. He also reported on our
next trip which will be on July 24th and go to St. John of God in Deptford. This
will be a car pool trip and we will get a free lunch.
President Schmidt
reminded members of the spring cleanup following today’s meeting. He also
reminded everyone of the need for
marchers in the 4th of July parade. We meet at 9:45 near Saxbys
(Chestnut and Kings Highway.)
Reports were also given
for Bridge, Golf, Pinochle and Bowling

adjourned with refreshments following at 2:30.
