The regular business meeting was held on Thursday December 10, 2020. The 65 Club clubhouse was closed due to the COVID 19 shutdown. The meeting was conducted remotely using the Zoom program. President Bill Brown called the meeting to order at 1:30 PM. There were at least thirteen (13) members on Zoom.

Minutes

The
minutes of the last Business Meeting, held on November 12, 2020, were
read. They were accepted without changes.

The
minutes of the last Board of Directors Meeting, held on December 3, 2020 and
conducted on Zoom, were read.
President’s
Report – Bill Brown
·
President
Bill Brown informed us a former member, Dr Charles Tourtellotte, had passed
away on December 6. Henry will send the
family a sympathy card if an address can be located.
·
Walt
Baker collected Christmas Gifts for the Elmwood Hills Home residents on
December 9. Besides toiletries’, $190 in cash was
donated. Dave Tarditi’s wife purchased
socks and scarves with these contributions for distribution at the home.
·
Bob
Parsons informed Bill Brown he will step down as the club’s luncheon director
after thirteen (13) years. Bill will
replace Bob in the position.
·
The
Salvation Army Red Kettle drive has been moved from Starbucks back to the Acme.
·
The
Nominating Committee has compiled the list of Officers and Directors for
2021. The list will be sent out shortly
to members and voting on the list will be held at the January Business meeting
Treasurer’s
Report – Dave Tarditi

Treasurer
Dave Tarditi reported the club’s financial balance is good. The club’s revenue decreased for 2020 but
expenses decreased even more thus the club made a small amount of money.
·
The
2021 budget has been sent to the Directors and Dave is waiting for comments
from them.
·
The
club has about 150 members and at present 89 have paid their 2021 dues.

Welfare
–Henry Leimkuhler

Henry
arranged for twelve (12) members to receive cookies through Amazon. He also arranged for one member to received
nuts.
·
Henry
requested for any member to notify him if they see Sandy Gray, the lady who
lives in the house next to the 65 Club House.
Henry would like to give her a Christmas gift but has not received any
reply to his inquiries.
Membership
- Roger Jacobs – 2nd VP

Roger
introduced a possible new member Joe Ligos. Joe attended a meeting by Zoom for
the first time. Roger will compile his application for membership.
·
Roger
also informed us of another possible member and will compile his application.
·
The
Perfect Gift notice was sent to five local publications. Haddonfield Living, Haddonfield Today, and
the Haddonfield-Haddon Patch have published the notification. The Retrospect has not responded and the
Haddonfield Sun is working on the publication.
·
The
USAToday sponsored Best Local Christmas Market contest has ended and results
will be available December 16.
Speakers
– Frank Lodge – 1st VP

Frank
welcomed Joe Ligos to the club and thanked John Cokos for speaking on December
17. John is replacing the scheduled
speaker who prefers to present in person.
Activities

will resume in April.

continues on Friday

continues on line on Monday and Thursday nights.

Neil
Wise stepped in and did a very credible presentation as a joke master. He did a sufficiently good job he will be
expected to do it again in the future.
Neil forgot no good deed goes unpunished.
