The regular business meeting was held on Thursday January 14, 2020. The 65 Club clubhouse was closed due to the COVID 19 shutdown. The meeting was conducted remotely using the Zoom program. President Bill Brown called the meeting to order at 1:30 PM. There were at least Fourteen (14) members on Zoom.

The
minutes of the last Business Meeting, held on December 10, 2020, were
read. They were accepted without changes.

The
minutes of the last Board of Directors Meeting, held on January 7, 2021 and
conducted on Zoom, were read.
President’s
Report – Bill Brown

Bill
presented the officers and Board of Directors for 2021. After reading the duties of each position he
asked the them to confirm they will execute the duties. After this, the club members verbally
approved their election.

Report – Frank Lodge

Frank
explained how he hoped to improve the club during his term of office.

Frank
discussed his 65 Invites Program proposal to replace trips until the COVID situation
is ended. This program will be held monthly
on the afternoon of the Business meeting day.
It will be advertised within Haddonfield and Haddon Heights. Two programs are currently under discussion. One would be a zoom chocolate description and
tasting session with a confectioner in town.
The other would be a zoom cooking class.
Discussions are being held with each.

Frank’s
second proposal is ensuring club members are aware of up coming activities in
the area. Some of the activities occurring

also plans to restore This day in History with an emphasis on club history.

Welfare
–Henry Leimkuhler

Mark
Hess is still quarranteined in his room.
·
Henry
received a letter from Dan Columbi thanking the club for staying in touch. Dan is facing more throat cancer surgery and kidney
dialysis is still occurring four times weekly.

Henry
received a thank you letter from club member George Tice who lives in Rochester
NY. George moved to Rochester in 1989 but has remained a member and in touch
with the club. He is now over 102.
Speakers
– Roger Jacobs – 1st VP

Rich
Cunliffe will make his second presentation on Artificial Intelligence (AI) on January
21.

A
presentation on the Lenape Indian Nation will occur on January 28
·
February
speakers are under discussion.
Membership
– Rich Bonnette

Rich
reported he is still getting familiar with the position and will have more
information next month.

Roger
reported Jack Donovan will be approved as a member at the February BOD meeting.

also reported contact with the churches will be kept up.

Golf
will resume in April.

continues on Friday

continues on line on Monday and Thursday nights.

Neil
Wise stepped in and did another very credible presentation as a joke master.
Neil is not learning no good deed goes unpunished so he will be expected to do
it again in the future.
